$5000 Winning Duck to be Awarded this Weekend at 6th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop

It's almost time to watch the Ducks fall from the sky AND watch someone win $5000!! This year marks the 6th year of the Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop and every year it's been getting better and better!

Here are a few details about the event!

Saturday - August 2, 2014
Located on the Bagnell Dam in Lake of the Ozarks
Organized by the Ozark Coast Kiwanis
Family Fun Zone Opens at 10:00am
Duck Drop Ticket Sales end at 1:00pm SHARP
Duck Drop at Noon!

The Family Fun Zone will be loaded with some great activities for the kids like Pony Rides, bounce houses, face painting and SOOOOOO much more!!

Applewood Smoked Wings - Jumbo wings seasoned to perfection and smoked slowly with applewood, the meat pulls right off the bone for a sweet and savory finish. Choice of: Naked, BB or Hot. Served with Ranch.
Nachos Overboard - Our homemade tortilla chips topped with choice of meat, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, black olives, diced tomatoes, onion and served with your choice of Pico De Gallo or sour cream. Chicken, BBQ Pork or Beef

Half Pound Burger - Our burgers are seasoned with Momma's secret seasoning, grilled and smoked. Absolutely juicy and savory! No other burger like it on the lake. Served on a kiser bun ad comes with lettuce, onion, pickle and choice of cheese. Served with homemade potato chips.

June is always a great time to head to the Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks for a Lake Vacation!! Usually by June the Missouri Weather has settled into a warm pattern, the Lake Water is refreshing and there are plenty of GREAT events for the entire family. Lake Race 2014 June 2-8 - Power boats from all over come to Lake of the Ozarks to compete for their share of the Prize Money. Canine Cannonball June 6-8 The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days Bar & Grill again this year. The 21st Annual Testicle Festival June 7 - This is a huge day long cook-off of deep fried turkey testicles, booths, dancing and carnivals. Located in the heart of Olean Missouri, this festival draws thousands of locals and visitors.

Momma's Market is excited to be a part of Thursday Night Boat Night!

Begin your Weekend Right with Boat Night every Thursday starting May 22nd. Enjoy food and drink specials at some GREAT Waterfront Restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks between the zero and 5.5 mile marks!!

In addition to the weekly boat night, once a month, there will be a huge fireworks display by Iguana Fireworks! Cut loose and have a good time every Thursday for Boat Night!

Spinach Artichoke Dip - our perfect blend of spinach and artichokes, engulfed in a rich cream cheese, placed in the perfect portion sized bread bowl topped with mozzarella cheese and serves with our homemade tortilla chips.
Momma's Hummus Dip - Creamy hummus with roasted peppers and olive tapenade, served with fresh vegetables and flatbread.
Lake Platter - 6 jumbo wings BBQ or Hot, pico de gallo & chips, six succulent jumbo shrimp on a skewer grilled with hot sauce, lime juice and topped with fresh cilantro.

Momma's Market is in the full swing of things... we have fresh fruit and veggies from the Farmers Market, the flowers have been planted, fresh herbs on the tables and a great staff ready and excited for the season!! For those of you that are new to Momma's or are considering trying Momma's Market, you are going to LOVE the Brown Bag option to build your own meal!! Even though Mommma's Market Menu is FULL of mouth-watering option that you will enjoy, sometimes you want to create your own. That is exactly why Momma created the Brown Bag Special...so you could build your own!

Here's how it works:

Grab a Sharpie and choose - Sammie, Salad or Noodle
Add your favorite ingredients and BE CREATIVE :)
Put your name at the bottom of the bag for your server.

Here's what they come with!!

Sammie - Comes with one protein, two veggies, choice of cheese and homemade potato chips.
Noodle Dish - Choice of penne or tri-color rotini, comes with one protein, choice of two veggies and choice of sauce.
Salad - Your choice of one protein, two veggies, mixed greens or spinach and choice of cheese and dressing
