Fun things to Do at Lake of the Ozarks June 2014

June is always a great time to head to the Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks for a Lake Vacation!! Usually by June the Missouri Weather has settled into a warm pattern, the Lake Water is refreshing and there are plenty of GREAT events for the entire family. Here are a few of the events you won't want to miss!

Lake Race 2014 June 2-8 - Power boats from all over come to Lake of the Ozarks to compete for their share of the Prize Money. Viewing is available on the Dam as well as many sponsoring establishments. Boats will run from the 0 mile marker to the 6 mile marker. For more information visit www.lakerace.com.
Canine Cannonball June 6-8 The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days Bar & Grill again this year. Canine athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this family friendly event. For information on entering your dog contact Dog Days at 573-348-9797. Free admission.
The 21st Annual Testicle Festival June 7 - This is a huge day long cook-off of deep fried turkey testicles, booths, dancing and carnivals. Located in the heart of Olean Missouri, this festival draws thousands of locals and visitors.
Hot Summer Nights June 13 - On the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark from 6-11 pm (rain or shine). Free admission and participation. All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the Strip and cruise around. www.cruisehotsummernights.com

Whether you are a long-time local or just visiting the Lake, you are going to LOVE Momma's mouthwatering entrees - and Momma's Pasta dishes are no different!! Momma's Chicken Alfredo - Grilled chicken, spinach, mushrooms, onions, sun-dried tomatoes, sauteed with garlic & white wine. Served over Penne pasta and drenched with Alfredo sauce!
Polynesian Pineapple Chicken or Shrimp - Penne pasta tossed with your choice of shrimp or chicken, pineapple, zucchini, red onions, garlic and soy sauce.
Homemade Meatball & Penne Pasta - Penne pasta with marinara sauce and topped withour own spicy meatballs.

Momma's Market is excited to be a part of Thursday Night Boat Night!

Begin your Weekend Right with Boat Night every Thursday starting May 22nd. Enjoy food and drink specials at some GREAT Waterfront Restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks between the zero and 5.5 mile marks!!

In addition to the weekly boat night, once a month, there will be a huge fireworks display by Iguana Fireworks! Cut loose and have a good time every Thursday for Boat Night!

You can also register at each location for a lily pad and other great prizes to be given away on the final boat night; like boat rentals, a Lily Pad, gift cards and more!! Here is a list of the participating restaurants:
